Board Member and Former Group Chief Executive of Accenture Operations
Debbie is the Former Group Chief Executive of Accenture Operations where she led a top-line double digit growth $6B+ portfolio of business process services (BPO). Under her leadership, Accenture Operations provided services for clients with operations in more than 120 countries through a network of 50+ global delivery centers employing 130,000+ people. She was a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and Capital Committee.
Debbie also served on the board of Avanade, an Accenture/Microsoft JV offering innovative technology solutions and managed services based on Microsoft technologies. She is a results-driven strategic thinker, mentor, and problem solver with a long track record of envisioning and executing transformative change, deploying leading edge technologies such as blockchain, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and machine learning/artificial intelligence for a multitude of Fortune 500 companies.
Since retiring from her 35-year career at Accenture, Debbie has joined four corporate Boards of Directors, Wawa, Inc. (Audit, Compensation and Nom/Gov committees), Micro Focus (Audit and Remuneration committees – company acquired by OpenText Jan 2023), Trinity Consultants and Globality, Inc. and one not-for profit Board, C200 (an organization focused on the advancement of women corporate executives and entrepreneurs). She is also a member of the Tulane-Newcomb College Dean’s Advisory Council and was the Executive in Residence at Tulane University during the Spring 2020 semester. On a personal note, Debbie is happily married to her husband Rob who she met in college and in her free time enjoys travel, reading, cooking, fitness and running marathons (5 completed) and half marathons (35+ completed).
Debbie has a BA in Economics having graduated magna cum laude from Newcomb College, Tulane University, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
